6 months have passed since I released "The Rocket Wizardry" and I suspect some of you might be expecting a really epic vid now, but unfortunately EVE wasn't that generous in sharing awesome fights with me. Though there are still a couple of memorable moments. Most of the stuff I've recorded looked like simple ganks, be it me killing 4-5-14 ships in succession or those 4-9 dudes blowing up my NH. Some of the fights in the movie still might look that way, but believe it or not I did cut a lot of stuff which might look nice at killboards, but yet doesn't meet my criteria...
I'd like to pay a tribute to all the people sending me encouraging mails and those giving the feedback at forums. Thank you guys, you really make all this meaningful.
My special thanks go for: Endless Subversion, ImPerfect, Fulminate, Templar Butan, Quorthon Seth, Holy Cheater.

Thank you guys, nice to see you entertained :)

How's the tengu compare to the NH for what you do?
Some pros, some cons. All in all, tengu is better (mostly cause of EW issues), but at the same time it takes more isk to fit one properly and I believe it's even harder to get a 'fair' fight with one than with the NH.
It's mostly my speculation, though, as I've used the tengu only 3 times so far, one being shown in the movie
I really miss tech3 BC ---[center] Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist |

The movie is now mirrored at rfclan.ru ( beware of a direct link) - for those experiencing problems with EVE-Files. Hope that helps.
Originally by: Miriam Sasko You are in the very bad situation that simply by having published something outstanding before, everything you do now will be judged more harshly than it would be if it came from Tom Smith. But what I can say? Even by those harsher standards this was epic <3
Hehe, yeah: second page in 24 hours, I'm getting famous

I laughed a lot during this vid, too bad you went for the t3, the miner might have invited you to fly with his fleet out in nullsec, the rewards dosn't seem comparable!
But please do note that they lost an Orca plus 2 Hulks, so I prolly should be glad already for not being billed ---[center] Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist |

Mostly manual as I usually have quite a lot of people shooting/chasing me. 'Keep at range' works at 1 on 1 and/or versus battleships, otherwise it's a very risky and rough way to do things ---[center] Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist |

Thanks :)
I can't promise any solo action soon simply cause I enjoy my brand new Claymore dual-boxing so much :) If you don't mind me dual-boxing... Tengu looks nice (its stats, not the hull itself!), may be I'll manage to get something decent out of it, but that definitely won't happen soon. May be soonÖ at best.
Others like their HAM Drake, but I personally find it utterly boring. HML Drake on the other hand is just a subpar Nighthawk, so no point in using it whatsoever, unless you really insist on PvPing for profit. And I'm not sure whether you can active tank it. Cerberus lacks firepower I need and you can't really active tank it effectively either, which in turn automatically takes away a lot of fun.
Any other ship is either too heavy to be piloted properly (and crawling is boring) or too small to be a major threat.
All in all, there are several capable ships in Caldari State (Crystal Raven is a nice cheap PvP boat, too - you can get a decent tank even with tech2 mods and the firepower is really great), but I just don't feel like toying with them much at the moment ---[center] Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Originally by: Suitonia Great Video. Hope you have another on the way.
Well, I'll definitely make at least one more vid on the same theme, though I'm not sure whether it'll be NH-focused or a mix of NH/Tengu.
Haven't really played since early December and anyway - there are so many damn good vids out there with really bleeding footage that I'd better become extremely cautious at fight selection.
Can't say something is rolling on other than just intentions. ---[center] Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist |

Originally by: Dansara I'm seeing solo NH kills on Fon's KB...fingers crossed another vid is on the way ....whoo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kind of, yes :)
The further you get, the harder it is to progress. And it definitely takes more time to make a next step as well, so I don't expect to have my new vid finished anytime soon.
I've got a couple of decent NH and Tengu fights, though.
Originally by: Tornicks Edited by: Tornicks on 22/03/2010 08:26:54 Great fights again. I would have used a different type of music for an EVE vid but that's personal preference.
Well, Wizardry had its own style, many liked it, many didn't, but that was quite different. I hope you aren't talking about club/electro stuff, right?

Originally by: Rawr Cristina I mean, 1 scramble and you're toast and NH is not a cheap ship to lose...
Considering the numbers I fight against, pretty much yeah. And that's exactly the reason why I don't get those 'epic' fights when you see someone with a bleeding structure etc. and why some people think there's very little risk involved - since once I'm tackled it all ends pretty much in 10 seconds. And if I'm not - well, that's what the vid is all about
CCP moarned on the 'zone of death' of 90% webbers of the past and yet they implemented the same thing with these new scrambles. I find it funny. Scrambers should reduce the MWD efficiency, that's right, but why should it be an ultimate 100% reduction?.. ---[center] Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes.
